Hi,
We have to choose better employment opportunities but not frequently. Being qualified, a person will have adequate theoretical knowledge. Practical knowledge is a slightly different phase of life where one may not be able to implement theories learned with 100% accuracy. However, practical knowledge and theoretical knowledge both need to run parallel like railway lines for trains to operate smoothly in day-to-day life.
Therefore, it is a crucial period to learn and transform theory into practice. It is recommended to stay with your first employer for a minimum of 5 years, which may be demanding but essential for refining your career. One must resist temptations such as seeking immediate salary hikes and quick promotions, which often lead individuals to switch jobs frequently.
After gaining 7 years of practical experience, it is crucial to evaluate oneself to have better foresight and vision when transitioning to a new employer. Be loyal, dedicated, and embrace your role with your future employer, who will provide a good job opportunity for you. Aim to stay with them for a longer duration, as it will offer continuous learning and growth opportunities.
Wishing you all the best.
With regards, Cyrill John.M. Manager - HR
