EPF not transferred from previous company to current company - last one year company not remitted the EPF amount

Dear Team,

I have worked for the last five years in XXX company in Chennai. They have remitted EPF for four years only; in the last year, they did not remit the EPF amount. I joined a new company six months ago, and now I am transferring my EPF from the previous company to the new company through the member portal. However, my transfer has been rejected by the EPF Authority due to the non-remittance by the previous company. Can anyone please help me with this issue on how to transfer the EPF account?

Hope you have provided UAN number to your current organization and filled EPF Form No. 11 and Form No. 13 too. Even if there is a problem in the transfer of your EPF account, then HR has to write a letter to the PF office in this respect along with your documents. If required, you have to visit the PF office along with all the documents of the previous and current organization. Problems can easily be resolved. In such kinds of issues, HR of the organization can play a major role in resolving issues.
