Unable to link my PAN Card with my PF account - middle name abbreviation in PAN Card

My name is Nobin D Samuel, which is there in all of my documents like my Aadhar Card, my Driving License, my Passbook, and even in my PF account. In my PAN Card, the name states as Nobin D Samuel, but my name is registered as Nobin Daniel Samuel. For this reason, I am unable to link my PAN Card with my PF account. Kindly help.

You have to get the PAN card modified as per Aadhar.

But PAN card does not accept only initials.

You are absolutely right. It is a problem for many people. So, first, you should change your Aadhar card based on your PAN Card. Then, approach the bank, PF Authority, etc., to change the name as per the Aadhar Card. This is the solution available at present as far as I know.

If you are facing issues linking PAN with UAN, even when the names match, you can resolve the problem by raising a grievance on the PF portal. If the linking problem persists due to discrepancies in details between PAN and EPF, you will need to correct the inaccurate information.

If you don't want to do anything, then go to your regional PF office and fill out FORM 15G. Attach your PAN card, and your PAN card will be updated within 2 days by the PFO.
