I work as a HR in a trading company based at Bangalore.
We have branches across PAN consisting Hamalis & other staff.
Currently, we are downsizing our warehouse employees including Hamalis since we are getting into 3PL.
We fall under Karnataka Shops & Commercial Establishment Act.
The query is .. as per our Appt Let, we have to give one month notice incase we want to terminate the employee.
we have informed the concerned employees but we are finalising on the last working day for them.
Do we need to provide them any other monetary benefit (apart from Gratuity)..we will pay their salary till their last working date.
Pls clarify.
