Dear RadhaMeera,
In your case you say that your performance in the interview is well but you do not hear anything from the company thereafter. For this your surmise is that they must have "blacklisted" you.
You may note that Background Verification (BGV) of the employee happens on his/her joining. Therefore, there is a remote possibility of company where you appeared for interview, checking your credentials with the past company. This might have happened in one odd case but it cannot happen in all the cases.
While you say that your performance was well in the interview. But then what if the company has got candidate whose performance was "very well"? Secondly, that your interview was good was your perception. A seasoned interviewer may not be expressive or could maintain reticence. Therefore, your perceptions about your perceptions could be inaccurate also.
In view of this, I recommend you keep on trying for better opportunity. While you have been knocking the doors, it might not be the right way of knocking and the door is not opening.
Have you taken feedback about your performance in the interview? Did you note down the questions that interviewer asked and the replies that you gave? Did you verify the correctness of the answers from some senior?
Thanks,
Dinesh Divekar
