ESIC and EPF rules for a newly opened kindergarten school

Kindly let me know if ESIC and EPF are applicable for a newly opened Kindergarten School staff which consists of around 10 employees. This count of 10 includes teachers, security personnel, housekeeping staff, and administrative staff.

If yes, what are all the documents required to register with the respective statutory bodies.

PF is applicable. You need to have the below-mentioned documents:
1. Registration certificate
2. Address proof
3. PAN Card
4. Digital Signature (Class II)
5. Specimen Signature card
6. Cancelled cheque copy
7. Data Input Sheet

Since you have only 10 employees, your establishment will not come under Provident Fund coverage.

EPF is applicable once you have 19+ employees, and ESIC is applicable when you have crossed 9 employees.
