you need to login to PF portal and should select the profile correction, when once the correct details entered you need to save it, it will be sent to the employer for approving.

We can apply name change through UAN portal of member.
1. Log in to the account using your login using UAN number and password. Then under the tab “Manage”, select the option “Modify Basic Details”.
2. Then first enter Aadhaar number and proceed for the entry of the details like name, gender and date of birth AS PER AADHAAR records.
Please note: Member initiate the process through UAN portal then Employer approve the changes. After the due verification the regional EPFO office approves the rectification in name of the member.
****Employer can not initiate name change from there end.
