Fixed term employment extended to all sector employees - is harmful for lower level workers

The government has accepted the demands of the industrial sectors for fixed-term employment. This move is beneficial for high-level jobs but harmful for lower-level workers. Please see the attached document regarding fixed-term employment being extended to all sectors.

Dear fraternity,

Can someone guide as to how many times we can extend the fixed-term employment of a welfare officer and safety officer? Should statutory posts be on a fixed-term basis indefinitely in industries?
