Calculation of NCP days for PF - please clear my doubts

ranu12
I have three queries. Please clear my doubts for example:

1. Mr. Ram was on leave for the entire month of January. What would be the NCP days for PF?

2. Mr. Shyam left the service on the 12th of January, and the 12th of January is a Saturday. In this case, what would be the NCP?

3. Ms. Sita was absent for 1.5 days in the month of January. So, would the NCP be 1.5 or 1? As the EPFO portal is showing "1".

1. 31 total number of days in the month.
2. 0 as he left the service on that day, so no NCP.
3. 1 as a fraction of the day is ignored for the calculation of NCP.

Employee NCP days is 15 for August. I have given a gross wage of Rs 2,708/-. My question now is, what will be the per day minimum wage calculation from the PF department for this case? Will it be 2708/(31-15) = 180.533 or 2708/(27-15) = 225.666 or something else???

If an employee dies on the 5th day of the month, how do I calculate the NCP days of ECR in EPFO? The employee's contribution for this month is 0.

If an employee has worked for 30.5 days in a month and NCP in EPF is taken as 0 because 0.5 days are not taken in EPF format, then what about the gross salary? From the company's point of view, it should be calculated for 30.5 days, but when filing EPF returns, should it be taken as gross for 31 days, i.e., the full month?
