Revenue Stamp on Wages Register

Dear All,
Pls clarify whether Re.1 Revenue Stamp has to be affixed on wages register when the salary is paid to employees by bank account transfer or cheque.
Pls guide me in this matter.
My organization falls under factories act and contract labour act.
The state of operations is Maharashtra and Gujarat.

The Revenue Stamp is affixed for payment of cash on wages register. Only one need to attach the bank transaction copy reflecting payment to the employees has been made.
