Bonus is calculated on Basic Salary + Dearness Allowance (Fixed + Variable)/Special Allowance (As per minimum wages) to maximum cealing of Rs.7,000/- or Actual whichever is lower.
As per the latest amendment of Payment of Bonus Act 2016, Bonus has to be paid on the Minimum wages or Rs 7000/= whichever is higher and not lower.
