Dear all,

I am in need of a list of HR policies and administrative policies within an organization.

Thanks,

HR policies depend on your organization's mission, vision, and values. There is no standard list at all. Perhaps you have not been taught these things during your MBA. Even letter formats and templates are designed according to your organizational requirements, your business processes, your candidate or human resources needs for running your business. Nobody can provide you with such a list without knowing these specifics about your organization.

Individuals like me, with over 47 years of industry experience, half of which is in the HR domain, provide HR consultancy on these matters. Recently, I was in a Gulf Country, specifically Doha, Qatar, for 8 days last month auditing a large logistics organization with 400+ employees. We found no organizational structure, no job descriptions, no KRAs, and no KPIs, yet they want to proceed with a performance management system. We have provided them with a roadmap for implementing all these necessary elements. Next month, we are returning there to stay for one month to install all these components.

If interested, please let me know.

Best wishes

Good evening, Sir/Madam,

I have only recruitment experience, but I am looking for a job in HR Admin profile. So, may I know what are the new responsibilities of this position?

Your roles and responsibilities can be better defined by your Immediate Superior or the boss. He should know why he recruited you in the first place! It is really amusing that you are asking us this question!! As I mentioned above, everything from Recruitment to Retirement comes within the ambit of HR. Much depends upon the nature of the business of your organization, size of employees, types of people being recruited, the vision, mission, and values of your company, etc. It is pretty vast. External people like us cannot spell out anything unless you tell us about your organization in its entirety. We will be asking a lot of questions, and you should first know about your own organization well enough to respond to us! So, start off with your boss first!

Best wishes
