Hi, can an employee/insured add his/her brother or sister as a dependent under the ESIC policy?

Conditions:
- Parents are not working.
- Brother and sister are unmarried and not working.
- Younger and older in both scenarios.

Thank you,
Shishir

Parents can be included in ESIC despite the fact that they are working or not.

For Brothers & Sisters, only minors (less than 18 years old) can be included in ESIC as dependents. Adults cannot be included in ESIC.

Sir, I am an ESIC-insured employee. I have two daughters and one son. My children are kids. My father is not alive. My mother and minor sister (16 years) also live with me. She is currently studying in the first year of intermediate. Can I add my sister as a dependent to my family policy? We all reside in a rented house. My mother and wife are homemakers. I am the sole breadwinner in my family. I would greatly appreciate your valuable suggestions. Thank you, sir.

Hello,

I am an unmarried girl, and I want to claim for my brother's wife. Is it possible?

My brother's wife's delivery charges claim.

Thank you!
