Registration of digital signature - whether any java settings required?

I am unable to register my digital signature on PF Site. No digital signature appears while registering. Are there any Java settings required?

Yes, Java settings are required for online registration of establishments with DSC. Please find the enclosed file.

When I tried to digitally sign the document in the EPFO portal, it was redirected to the Java updation screen. Previously, I installed the latest version of Java 8 (161) and added the URL to the exempted site list in the security tab of the Java configuration screen. Kindly help me with the next steps.
