An auditor asked us for a report on KPIs for business improvement. How should be our report be. This is a healthcare company with 150-200 employees. Kindly suggest. Thanks Anthony

Healthcare means what exactly you do? Do you run hospital or medical laboratory? If it is hospital then following are the business KPIs:
a) Revenue per employee
b) Revenue per bed
c) Bed occupancy ratio and so on...

Hi, We do have KPIs. However, our auditor asked us for a report saying that He needs report on KPIs for business improvements. Kindlt let know how to proceed.

Please provide further clarification on your post. What type of audit is this? Have you hired external agency to audit your organisation? What is your designation? Are you from HR? If you are from HR, then how come you are associated with the report on business KPIs? It is job of the MD.
Is audit agency not expected to know the KPIs for your organisation? Auditing agency's job is to carry a check list and asking for the relevant records. Based on the records provided they are supposed to identify discrepancy if any or non-measurement if any. The three KPIs that I have provided in my previous reply, are these not business KPIs? You may provide report on those KPIs. What is hold up is not understood.
There are so many questions associated with your post. Please clarify.

We are on the process of accreditation through (similar to ISO). They have asked us to submit the "KPIs to monitor the performance of the business". How should be the reports given to them?
Kindly suggest.

HI, You said You have KPIs Layed out for your Firm. In this case ,you may be also be generating out performance review report base on these indicators. These reports may be worked out as per the formats issued by the accreditation agency carrying out audit.

If anyone has sample formats, that would really help me to do my own. Kindly help me with few reports. Thanks

Have look at at your ISO audit reports if you are ISO certified company. You will find one such report there also.

Dear Anthony,
KPIs related to the business are always customised. For this, an external consultants needs to study the systems of processes of each department and identity vital aspects of your business. KPIs are also devised from the current market scenario, industrial practices, automation etc.
Therefore, you may hire external consultant for this. Why anyone will provide anything free of cost to you? You may try Google but please note, essence of measurement lies in measuring what deserves to be measured. Therefore, you may end up in scratching the surface. In what way it will serve the purpose of your organisation.
Anyway, if you are interested then you may convene my telephonic discussion with the MD of your company. I will devise such PMS for you that you do not have to hire external agency at all.
