Career Advice - What Course To Pursue - Unemployed Engineer Age 29?

jack1016
As an unemployed engineer at the age of 29 who completed engineering in 2012 and has attempted civil services exams twice (failed prelims in 2014 and 2016), I am seeking advice on the best course to pursue. I aim to re-enter the workforce while continuing my exam preparation. I have not been employed since graduating (B.E. in Computer Science with 62% aggregate, weak in maths).

I have been advised to consider the following courses:
1. Selenium
2. Data Power
3. Oracle DBA
4. iOS Developer
5. Data Analytics

Please advise on the most suitable course given my background and circumstances.

Dear Jack,

It has been 4-5 years since your graduation. Now, it is time for you to find employment that does not require a significant investment. Your main concern is your immediate cash flow. Pursuing computer courses immediately after graduation is one thing, and doing so after a 4-5 year hiatus is another. Just because you have a BE in Computer Science does not mean you should restrict your career to the IT field only.

If your oral communication skills are good and you have a strong personality, you may consider becoming a Medical Representative. If you acquire production knowledge and demonstrate complete dedication, the sky is the limit for your growth. It is important to note that this field does not necessitate a degree in Pharmacy. High IQ is sufficient for success. The key distinction of this career is that it is field-oriented and not a sedentary job like IT.

Pharmaceutical companies are experiencing rapid growth, and the sector is recession-proof. The reasons for this are quite evident.

Thanks,
