Esic & PF For New Employees For A New Start Up Company?

This is Gayathri. I am a fresher and have joined a newly startup company as an HR Executive. Could you please provide me with information on how to generate ESI & PF for new employees in the startup company? Is it possible for PF & ESIC since we have already registered our company with startup India? Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

If you have reached 10 employees, then only ESI registration is mandatory. If you have reached 20 employees, then both ESI and EPF are mandatory. Both should be done online. For that, you require a Digital Signature Certificate. If you need assistance, you can reach me.

For ESIC PF registration, you need 10 employees for ESIC and 20 for PF. You can register online and obtain a registration code number.

For employees registered with Provident Fund (PF) and Employee State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), you do not need to provide any physical papers to submit.
