ESIC Applicablity

I want to confirm about ESIC that it is applicable for a cooperative housing society where more than 10 workers are working.

Sir, a cooperative housing society, in my opinion, is just like a "shop" where economic activities are going on. As such, it can be covered under the ESI Act, 1948, and the rules/regulations framed thereunder. However, for any clarification or a final decision in the matter, it would be better if you contact the concerned ESIC authorities of the area where your unit is located.
