Regarding PF Withdrawal [Thread 568778]

I registered myself on the UAN website. However, I have now forgotten my password, and my phone number has also been changed. Consequently, I am unable to reset my password as the OTP is being sent to my old phone number. I attempted to utilize the option in UAN to change both my phone number and password, but it was not successful. I even tried calling the toll-free PF number, but no one is answering. Could you please advise me on how to change my phone number and proceed with a withdrawal?

That should not be a worry provided you are still employed and that your establishment still remits your provident fund contributions at the PF Office. Your employer can also update your phone number by uploading a file through the establishment log-in. Kindly request them to do so. Once that is done, you can raise a request for a new password. Send the problem to the UAN helpdesk. Choose "forgot password" and provide your registered mobile number. Include all details such as date of birth, member ID, UAN, and current mobile number. Your problem will be solved shortly through a message.

No, I am not employed and I need to withdraw PF now. Also Singh, I tried the steps sent from your end, and still, it is sending the OTP to the registered mobile number to accept those changes. Kindly help.
