Overtime For Fire Fighting Department Under Factory Act 1948

I am working in the fire-fighting department under the Maharashtra State Power Sector. Can anybody tell me if the fire-fighting department has unlimited overtime as per the Factory Act 1948? Is it true or not?

Please refer to sec 64 of the Factory Act and Rules 100-102 of the Maharashtra Factory Rules. There is a list of exemptions given and the extent to which the exemption is provided. If your work is listed there, then you may follow the same. If not, you need to get an exemption from the factory inspector for the same.
