How Do You Handle Partial Absences in NCP Days Without Using Decimals in ECR Files?

I want to know about Non-Contributing Period (NCP) - As per Electronic Challan cum Return (ECR) file instructions, we cannot mention decimal numbers in the NCP days column. However, if an employee is absent for 1.5 days or 2.5 days in a particular month, how should this be handled? How can I indicate this without using decimals?
