Gratuity Calculation [Thread 545112]

Dear Sir,
My basic till 5 years 11 months is Rs.5000/-
in the 12 th month(Last month of my working) it is made Rs.15000/- and I left the job
now tell me how my gratuity will be calculated.
It will be calculated on 15000 rupees or average 12 months basic will be considered because my 15000 basic is made only for 1 month.
Please guide.

As your last drawn basic salary is Rs.15,000/-. Your gratuity calculation will be
Gratuity = 15000*15/26*6
Then your gratuity amount will be Rs. 51,923
