Correcting a Wrongly Updated UAN Number: Process, Procedures, and Alternatives

In our organization, the UAN number of one employee has been wrongly updated by RPFC. Could someone help me with how to correct it? What is the process to correct the UAN number? Should that employee personally have to come to the PF office?

You can send a request letter with the proper ID proofs of that member and submit it to the regional office of EPFO. They will make the change as per your request.

The member is not required to go to the EPF office.

You can send a request online also with the help of UAN helpdesk.
