Benefits For Died Employee Covered Under ESI Scheme

Charan.crew
Dear seniors,

Good afternoon. If an employee dies on the office premises during working hours, what benefits are available for the deceased employee and their family?

The dependents of a deceased employee will receive the following benefits under the ESIC Act:

1. Dependent benefit
2. Funeral expenses.

Please note that the correct spelling is "employee" and "ESIC." Also, ensure there is only one line break between the paragraphs for better readability.

The dependents/legal heirs will be entitled to benefits under the following statutes if the respective statutes are applicable to the employee at the time of his death:

1. ESI Act, 1948
2. Payment of Gratuity Act, 1972
3. Employees' Provident Fund and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952

Please let me know if you require any further assistance or clarification.

Dependent benefits are taken care of by the corporation, and they can be complex to learn.
