Thank you for posting this important report.
For any new Project getting a MoEF clearance was always a long drawn affair.
It is gratifying to note that the �Project Approval� is one of the points considered for streamlining.
Climate Change is added to the acronym MoEF, thereby showing the new area of focus.
It is quite intriguing to note that the word FOREST would get a new definition.
The power to 'arrest' and the guide lines to 'appeal' seem to be new features.
The above recommendations if implemented soon, would certainly play an important role
in Prime Minister's new initiatives namely MAKE IN INDIA and SWACHH BHARAT.

from page 103 to 108 given at the end of the report
