Dear Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Chauhan,
As far as retail operations are concerned, there are two types of training. One is for the retail executives. It covers routine subjects like customer service, communication skills, etc. The second training focuses on managing retail operations, which includes inventory management, warehouse management, and the use of Linear Programming (LP) techniques to optimize stock levels.
The second training is non-conventional and has yet to gain traction in India. Additionally, it involves a lot of mathematics; therefore, a high IQ is required. The first training is more generic, and an average IQ is sufficient to grasp the concepts.
Please decide on the type of training you prefer. The second training is expected to have a higher return on investment than the first. If you are interested in the second option, feel free to approach me. To learn more about my training activities in the field of purchase and inventory management, please visit [link removed].
