Dear Seniors,

Please help below! The company in which I am working does not have policies that are typically found in organizations, such as a leave policy, dress code policy, traveling policy, city conveyance, company loan, and many more. I have taken an initiative and spoken to management, explaining that these policies are essential for the betterment of the organization. Management has asked me to give a presentation where I should highlight the advantages and disadvantages for both the employer and employee of each policy.

I have listed the necessary policies that should be in place in an organization but are currently lacking and need to create a PowerPoint presentation with a focus on the advantages and disadvantages. I am scheduled to give the presentation on the 15th of March. The proposed policies are attached.

Please, please, please help me. If anyone has any details like this, please share them with me. It would be a great help to me. I sincerely request your assistance.

Regards,
Ravita

Hi SRK,

Thanks a lot.

In our company, the rule states that if someone leaves, he/she must give two months' notice, and vice versa. Yesterday, an employee submitted her resignation with a request to waive the two-month notice period, which was agreed upon. Are we supposed to pay her the two months' salary in this case?

No, when the employee is severing the relationship, the requirement is for the employee to give notice of two months. You have waived it off on the request of the employee. So there is no need to pay for the notice period.
