ESIC Online Payment

We seek your valuable advice on ESIC online. This query is regarding ESIC online contributions. We have uploaded incorrect ESIC contributions on the ESIC online portal, but our actual contribution is less than what we previously uploaded on the ESIC portal. Do we have any option to change or edit the contributions we have uploaded on the ESIC portal?

To my knowledge, there is no facility on the ESI Portal to reduce the submitted contribution. However, there is a feature to increase the contribution if it has been submitted for less than required. Let's explore more views on this topic. If there is a way to reduce the filled amount, it would be valuable information for everyone.

The principle of E&OE stands. In case you have deposited a contribution more than due, you may approach the concerned RO/SRO with necessary details of calculations and request the RO/SRO to allow adjustment in future payments or claim a refund of the excess contribution paid.

There is no provision for the same. There should be a provision for reducing/modifying the data uploaded. EPF is a user-friendly gateway. The ESIC portal has to be inspired by the same.
