Which Is Better A 1 Year Or 2 Year Program Of MBA From SMU ?

Can I know if a 1-year MBA program is better or a 2-year program? I am planning to do my MBA from SMU. They have two options: a 2-year course and a lateral entry course. I am confused. Also, is an SMU degree valid? Will it be considered by organizations? I am currently working as an admin executive and want to pursue an MBA in HR for career growth.

Speaking from personal experience, it doesn't have much market value. You can rather try ICFAI/Symbiosis/IMT/AIMA.

I would suggest not going for either option. Instead, if you can, consider pursuing a full-time MBA from a reputable institute.

Nowadays, HR recruiters mainly focus on regular MBA - full-time with reputed institutions. Hence, there is no value addition for a one-year MBA or two-year MBA.

As per my experience, I have completed an MBA from SMU, but there is no value in the market. Therefore, I recommend pursuing a full-time MBA course from a university-recognized college as it will be more beneficial for you.
