Hi,
I am working in the HR department. One of the employees is asking for a loss of pay letter. Could someone please send me the necessary format?
Thank you.

Hi,

Is any of your employees asking for a letter for LOP or from any employer? May I know the reason for that?

Thank you.

Hi,

I need a letter format for Loss of Pay for an employer who received a salary less than expected. Can anyone help me with this? The employer's salary is 15000, but he only received 14500 due to a loss of pay. According to his payslip, he requires a letter format for Loss of Pay (as the employer has applied for a loan and the bank manager needs it). Please assist me with this.

Thanks,
Lakshmi

Does your company provide the payslip? If so, the payslip contains all the details, i.e., loss of pay. If your company does not provide the salary slip, then you can issue a salary certificate, which will suffice the employee's needs, i.e., submitting to the bank regarding his gross salary.

Usually, the company never gives a letter on loss of pay. Please wait for seniors to advise further.

Dear Lakshmi,

In your discussion, the individual is not an employer but an employee. There is a significant difference between an employer and an employee. In this case, please provide a brief explanation.
