PF Deduction Rate Is Fixed

its a question to experts. My question is whether the pf we deduct from employees salary is fixed say 12% of basic or even we can pay pf as we want.
As far as i know if pf is deduct upto 12% and max of 650 all req are met.

PF Contribution is not Upto 12 % but it is 12 % of Basic + DA.
You can contribute more than 12% but employer will not be agree for this as he has to reconcile this & submit return. Rather he will prefer to have deduction as per Act only.
