Understanding Alimony Taxation and Income Tax Rebate in Divorce Cases

My company is deducting Rs. 35K per month from my salary as per the order by the High Court to give to my wife (divorced case) from September 12 onwards. The company received a notice from the High Court. My queries are:

1. Is it liable to show in any financial report of the company's book?
2. Can I claim the income tax rebate on this?

Also, please guide me on any problems regarding companies.

I don't think you can claim tax exemption for the monthly alimony given to your ex-wife. However, the monthly alimony received will be treated as revenue receipts and taxable at the hands of the recipient.
