We have been receiving quite a few complaints about not receiving the daily digest newsletter. How many of you have never received it? This seems to be particularly a problem with Yahoo email addresses.
It's been weeks since I last saw the daily digest mail. I'm not sure about the observation regarding Yahoo mail IDs since mine isn't one.
Also, if you recall, I had previously informed you about receiving the mail intermittently, which doesn't align with the notion of a permanent problem with certain IDs. There might be intermittent issues causing this problem rather than persistent ones.
Okay, let me try sending it through sendgrid.com for a couple of days - if the traffic value generated is good enough, we will continue with that.
The second option is to create a premium subscription for the newsletter - by my calculations, it would come to about Rs. 90 per month, including service tax and everything. But I wonder if there would be any takers.
If you're not receiving any emails with the subject above, please find one of your old newsletters from this website. Simply reply to that as a test email. By doing something like that, you will automatically be able to receive it soon. I had the same problem once, so try it :)
Earlier, I used to receive normal emails, but now I am getting a web-based newsletter from noreply+feedproxy@google.com on behalf of CiteHR Human Resource Management [citeman@citeman.com]. This newsletter is sent to me on a daily basis.
Could you please confirm if the format has now been converted to web-based?
I would also suggest checking your JUNK mailbox. Sometimes, mass-mailed items get filtered and end up there. If you find them in the Junk mailbox, mark them as "NOT JUNK." This may help.
Yeah, this is what happens when you work alone. Due to an issue in the script, the users were getting bumped out of the newsletter even if they confirmed. I have added all the users to the newsletter again.
But this is not related to the delivery issue - that may still remain. Just because we added some 25 lakh emails to the newsletter - now members will receive one newsletter in 3 days as the server can only process about 10 lakh emails a day. This list will, of course, get smaller in 4-5 days as the bounced email addresses and the unconfirmed email addresses will go off the list.
