Guide to Transferring PF from Trust to RPFO: EPF Form 13 Process

Could anyone please suggest the sequence of activities in transferring the accumulated PF amount from the previous PF Trust to RPFO?

To transfer PF from a trust, you have to submit Form 13A to your present employer. They will take care of the rest of the activity.

Actually, I am the person who has to take care of this activity (Being an HR Exec.). My main query is whether I have to send Form 13 to RPFO only or to the previous employer too?

To transfer the accumulated PF amount from the previous PF Trust to RPFO, you simply need to fill out Form-13 of EPF (two copies). One copy should be submitted to the EPFO office, and the second one should be kept with the EPF trust. Following this, the process of transferring the accumulation will commence.

Dear Ma'am,

You will need to send Form 13 to EPFO. You do not need to send it to your previous employer. EPFO will forward it to your previous employer, and if there are any objections, you will receive intimation from EPFO.
