Yes. It is mandatory. You are required to take exemption from maintaining wage register in manual form (i.e. to use computerised wage register), uner Rule 31 of the Minimum Wages Act, 1963 (Maharashtra State). Dy. Commissioner of Labour is authority. You are required to make formal application on your company letter head with existing formats. You may first approach Dy. Commisioner of labour and take details.
