Hello Everyone,
This is my first post with cite HR, so please do excuse me if I make any mistakes here. I actually wanted to seek help in shaping my career in HR with the right qualifications. To give you a brief idea, I am 24 years old, just cleared my SYBcom through Distance learning from Mumbai University. Regarding my experience, I have a total of 6 years of work experience, out of which 2 years were in US recruitment with Accenture and 2 years in IT recruitment with another Tier 1 company.
I now understand the value of not having a full-time degree but do not wish to be thrown out of the race as well. I just want to know what will be the best thing that I can do after my graduation (due this year) to keep me in the race. Should I go for a regular Part-Time MBA in HR or should I pursue a Diploma in Labor Laws or an MA in Psychology? I have also heard of HR certifications like PHR, SPHR, and GPHR.
It would be a great help if anyone can assist me with this.
Regards,
Sujith Thalekkara.
