PF Internal Transfer Clarification

danielraja
Dear HRs,
I have a clarification on PF internal transfer.
I know that PF account can be transferred by filling up the necessary forms when a Peron moves to another company .
Is it possible for the internal transfer for the rejoinees.
If an employee rejoins into the same organization after one or two years,a new Pf number is given under the same establishment code.
In this case.his old number was not transferred as well as not yet claimed and No break period was shown in the monthly returns submission as well.
Please advise whether it shall be transferred one number to another number under the same establishment code else it should be claimed??
Thank you!

I believe as it shall be transfered. Even I have the same. One of our employee rejoined after 4 months. Now I am planing to transfer from Old Account to New account. I am planning to submit form 13 by next week. Once after submission i shall confirm the same.

There is provision available in the PF for rejoin employee to allot same PF code in the name of rejoin. Incase previous account was closed and the amount received from individual the rejoin is not possible.
The Transfer form is not required for rejoin employees and also use the same PF code no. for rejoin employees.

Dear Jeeva,
I understand once we enter the exit details of the workmen in the EPF e-SEWA portal, we have to allot new numbers if they rejoin.

hi all,
from the xavier's response its understood that if a person rejoins the company after a gap and has not withdrawn the pf amt then he can go ahead with same PF account number,
1) wanted to know that if a person wants to transfer the amount then after filling the transfer form to whom the new joinee has to submit the form and how he could track that amount is transfered to new account or not.
thanks,
naveen.

In this case not required to submit the transfer form with in the organisation. The same account no. will be given to the rejoin employees the monthly contribution will be accounted in the earlier account no.
for e.g. x is joined on 01.01.2011 and left services on 31.12.2011 and again rejoined on 01.03.2012 within the organisation there is no required transfer form for rejoined employees.
Further any clarification you can check your local PF Office there are provision is available for rejoin employees to provide earlier account no.
The accumulation will be ensured through annual statement of accounts from PF office.

U are right, but now starts EPF e-SEWA portal this facilities is not available.
If the employees not coming u fill up NCP days OR Left this employee on monthly statement.
If u fill up NCP days and this employees rejoin u given old PF No.
If u not fill up NCP days and this employee rejoin u r required New PF no.
