Form 19 Claim And Nationlized Bank Issue - DOC Download

anilyarki
Hi,

I have a simple query but I am not able to find a solution to this. I recently received my claim for the Form 10c; however, my claim for the Form 19 was rejected as I had provided the SB account number of a non-nationalized bank. I have received the letter from the Bangalore office mentioning the same. My question is:

- Is it possible that I can simply provide them my nationalized SB account number and get the claim? If YES, then how to do it.
- Do I have to resubmit the entire form again and start it all over again and wait for another 4 to 5 months?

Please help.

You need to resubmit the rejected application form with your ID proof and one canceled check of a nationalized bank. Kindly contact your HR for further process.

I resubmitted the form with an SB account details of a nationalized bank, and after 5 months, I received a letter from them telling me that the claim has already been settled. I haven't received the claim as it never got deposited in my account. Please help as I have no idea how to give them my nationalized bank account cheque. What should I do now?

In such cases, it is advisable to personally meet the PF authorities and sort out the issue. In the case of rejection of the application for want of the account number of a Nationalised Bank (which will never happen because PF is expected to send the amount to any scheduled bank which has NEFT facility), you can submit a reauthorization form. Whenever forms for withdrawal or taking advance from PF are submitted, a cancelled cheque is required to be submitted along with the forms.

Please find the attached reauthorization form.
