Personal Injuries (compensation Insurance) Act, 1963

Dear Seniors
Will you all please suggest me about PERSONAL INJURIES (COMPENSATION INSURANCE) ACT, 1963, whether this act is applicable for a Construction company or not?

Dear Naveen,
Refer to your query, the above act is not applicable to the persons working in construction company. only Workmen Compensation Act -1923(Now it is amended as Employees Compensation Act -1923) or ESI Act -1948 is applicable to your organisation.

We are complying WC Act-1923 or ESI Act-1948 which is applicable to our company.
There is one clause in Personal Injuries Act, i.e. "workmen employed in any employment specified in this behalf by the Central Government by notification". and that is the reason of my query.
will u explain me? pls.
