Is it compulsory to register the company under the Legal Metrology Act 2009, which is effective from 1st April 2011? Kindly advise or guide us as soon as possible.

Can anyone provide me with the notification stating that Oct 2 is declared as a national holiday? I came to know sometime back that it has been removed from the national holiday list.
