Lap Top Policy

Dear All,
ours is an Engineering R&D centre, and having laptops in our office, some time our Engineers take this laptops to thier homes for doing some official work during weekly offs and holidays.
my Management asked me to formulate a policy regulating use of laptops
so I request any of you esteemed members of this form to give me some suggestion and format that can be used to frame some policy in this regard.

formulate an Information security policy and then conduct a small training for all highlighting the good practices and non conformances.
do not proceed with bits of policies in isolation ie today you start with emails/ trow internet/ next comes cellphones..
analyse business risks, mitigation plans and then proceed.
there are 127 controls in ISO-27001 (information security mgmt systems) so let me know if you need further help..

Dear Mr Yunus,
Firstly, prepare a note that every employee has to sig whenever he/she takes the laptop home. Add the same as a clause.
Prepare a do/donts list and send it to all informing about the various ISO Clauses. Virus to be update by IT team as per SOP.
Any moment of laptop outside premises to be informed to Admin for there data updation.
