Resignation Very Depressed - Suggestion

jaganap
Hi All,
Please help me.I really beg you all.
I have recently resigned from an MNC within 7 business days of joining there. There is no dependency on me as Iam not assigned with any work or any knowledge transition.
But still the company wants me to serve the notice period for 30 days as part of the company policy.
I am not sure what needs to be done.
I wont be able to stay and serve the notice period.
I am not able to sleep nor do anything because of this stress.
I have told the same about the stress I am feeling.
I have already told that my parents are very old and I have to take care of them and wont be able to continue..
Still they say that I need to serve the notice period.
Please tell me what should I do.
As I have already resigned if I stop going tothe company will they put me into blacklist.
I have also told that I dont want any salary as well.
I dont want the reliving letter or anything from them.
I need a fair exit.
Please help me..what I needto

Just live your life the way you want.

Follow your priorities. If your parents are truly your priority, and you really want to take care of them, then just do that.

Stop creating 'what if' situations in your mind.

Yes, you may not win 'Recruit of the Year Award' if you don't act per your employer's directions, but you have to take a decision and then have the courage to stand by it.

Many reading my answer will believe that I am advising you incorrectly. And, so be it.

But, in life there are things far more important than stressing on 'what if' situations. Remember, none of us owe anything to anyone. And, similarly, nobody owes us anything. All the work we do in our lives is a fair transaction. We perform a task or set of tasks and in return, we are compensated monetarily.

And, if one is at a crossroads where one has to choose between attending to one's present circumstances, or the 'what if' analysis of the future - especially if that analysis is steeped in negatively - I believe the answer is crystal clear.

The question then is - do you have the courage to stand by your decision when you stare at yourself in a mirror and look into your own eyes?

If the answer is YES, then you know what to do. If the answer is NO, then just don't do anything. Things will happen by themselves - but you'll have almost no control or input therein.

So, remember - you DO HAVE a CHOICE.

But, do you Have the COURAGE to exercise that CHOICE?
