Reg :industrial safety new suggestions?

Hi friends and dear advisers,

Currently, I am working as a safety officer in a private MNC. After I joined the company, I have included the following:

1. Work permit system
2. Fire extinguishers
3. Hydrant systems
4. PPEs
5. Emergency mock drill
6. Emergency exit
7. First aid training
8. Medical check-up for workers
9. ERP
10. Safety manual
11. Vehicle policy
12. Firefighting training for security and emergency teams
13. Accident report and investigation
14. Near-miss reports
15. Unsafe and safe conditions
16. Health safety
17. General safety awareness training programs for contract laborers once a month
18. Risk analysis
19. Implementing new ideas
20. Safety day celebration
21. Waste management

In one shift, there will be 500 workers in operation. Please give me some suggestions on what important topics I should include in this industry for safety. 80% of the workers in the company are above 40, so while giving suggestions, kindly keep that in mind. I am looking forward to your valuable advice and suggestions.

Dear SreeHari,

Please add a safety policy or an EQHS policy and establish a Safety Committee that will conduct meetings. Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) can be included as well. I believe you have covered most of the necessary aspects.

Do you have Safety Stewards (Safety Marshals) in your workplace? Make use of them effectively. First, provide inputs to them and instruct them to explain in the toolbox talk meetings daily. Concentrate on your company's HSE policy, Objectives, and Targets. Conduct toolbox talk meetings to educate the workers about the above. Implement safety award/reward functions every month and distribute prizes to those workers who work safely. I will add a few more points in the future; I am currently running short of time.
