Company Not Providing Relieving Letter - Company Letters

Hi Everyone,

I worked with an employer for 2.4 Years. Unfortunately, due to my health problems i had to admit in the hospital for 1 months time, and after that i submitted my medical certificates and also doctors prescripttion everything to my TL and i asked him for one more week leave as i had to take bed rest. They said, its ok and told me to report to work after 1 week.

I did go to office after 1 week and now they say, that they have referred me back to HR. In this period, my TL left the company and also my manager left the company as the process which i was working was about to shut down.

I went to HR and they said that they have marked me absconding. I told them that i have already submitted the medical documents to my TL, they told me to get it. I Spoke to my TL and he said that he has kept my medical documents in Cupboard. Another TL of my process searched for it, but he said he didn\'t get it.

I told the same thing to my HR but they are not believing me, and also i told them that i can make my TL to speak to them, they say that my TL has already left the organization and there is no point TL speaking to them, they need the documents. Unfortunately, the documents provided to my TL were original.

I spoke to my HR, Process Manager, and also HR Manager. in this regards but they are of no help.

I also told them i am ready to pay my notice period amount, they say that they have already sent the termination letter and they cannot give me relieving.

I need my relieving letter somehow. I have requested them a lot. But this is going no where..

Anyone from this forum, please suggest me as to what to do to get my relieving letter?

Hi Everyone,
Any one from this forum, could you let me know, if i don't get the relieving letter, can i ask for my experience certificate ( 2.4 Years Experience )?
My Current working company need any letter confirming my employment in my old company and designation.
I asked my HR about my experience certificate, but he says that they cannot give me the experience certificate as well, and also any letter, about my employment in the company.
Please let me know as to what to do in this regards?

Hi Sashi,
I'm surprised how people play with someone's career...anyways, why didn't you submit another copy of medical certificate or prescription. If you don't have you can retrieve it from the hospital/clinic from where you got the treatment done.
Now, coming to second query, The company cannot deny experience certificate even if they have terminated you they have no right to eliminate your 2.4 years..so talk to the HR people again...and if they deny again, you can seek legal help....
Apart from all this, you can show appointment letter, salary slips and bank statements to confirm your employment with this company.....it will surely work.

Hi Archana,
I spoke with HR people again, they say that according to policy they won't be rework on my case as they have marked me absconding and terminated me.
I am requesting them for my experience letter, not the relieving letter.
Present company needs any letter from Previous employer confirming that i worked in the previous company at any cost.
I am lost completely, not sure what to do next?
Please help me in this regards ASAP,
