What are the sources for recruiting unskilled labor for tailoring jobs in a garments company? Waiting for your valuable reply.

Well, go for consultancy that deals with labor positions or offers employee referrals through existing employees, or conduct recruitment events in the areas where you believe you can find them.

I think Bhavana is right, or you can display a vacancy board in front of the factory.

We have one vacancy at our branch in Vaishali-Ghaziabad for a learner in HR who will work on the establishment of SOPs for a big industry.

The job is suitable for a female candidate and should be located in the nearby area. There will be a lot of typing, reading manuals/HR books during the job, and good communication skills are required. There is no special qualification needed. The work schedule is six days a week, and Sunday is not a compulsion for the weekly off. It is the candidate's choice to take any day off during the week, and timing is flexible. She can choose any timing for 8 hours between 6 am to 7 pm, or work 4 hours in the morning and 4 hours in the evening.

Dear Komala,

The best way to hire unskilled labor (Tailoring) for the garment industry would be through NGOs that deal in Vocational training. Try to find out which NGO in your area deals in Vocational training. Check with them if they run vocational courses (Tailoring is one course approved by the Government of India). Moreover, NGOs will not charge you for placing their trained students.

Try this out. It works.

You can paste pamphlets at public places, such as buses/bustands, trains/railway stations, markets, local tea shops, near other garment industry, and local newspapers, etc.

We have successfully fulfilled the manpower requirements.

Hi respected seniors!

I have just completed my MBA (Marketing) from IMS DAVV, INDORE. I have three years of work experience in different organizations, but all of them were off-role and part-time jobs. I don't have salary slips for them. So, now, will it be better (or a waste) to mention those work experiences in my resume for further job applications and placement drives? Please suggest. You HR people can guide me well.
