Hi,

Which kind of help in training is it related to identification, calendar, feedback, or analysis?

Hi Priya,

Don't mind me saying this, but have you started an organization without knowing anything about it?
Sakshi Gupta@unitee
To identify the need for training, first, you need to review the performance and potential of the employees. Then, you will be able to identify what kind of training you need to provide.

Sorry for the delay. Identification should be mostly done by the production department for technical training because they are well-versed in the production area, along with Maintenance and Quality departments.

The second identification should come from the PMS (Performance Management System) and skill matrix. For example, if I am working in the production area, my production supervisor knows well about that area, not HR. HR's role is to assist the production department and the plant head in identifying training needs, creating calendars, and making training arrangements.

Soft skills training, such as behavior and other skills, are identified by HR.

T&D is an important element to enhance worker performance. It also increases the skills and knowledge of the worker.

Dear All,

Can anyone help me out with a feedback application form for training employees? This could be for behavioral skill training or technical skill training.

Kindly assist me, friends.

Hi Priya,

You can respond to this thread or send me a private message. The sources of wisdom are numerous, and each of us has our own preferences. It's an ocean out there, but we can start, teacup by teacup, each building our own reservoir.

All the best.

Dear Priya,

The identification procedure will be as follows irrespective of the organization:

1. Most important - Defining job responsibilities and job descriptions, as this will help in finding out what is expected from the employees and will form the basis of the first outline of your identification process.

2. Measuring the gap between the skills of employees and the skills required to perform any assignment.

3. During hiring, training needs may be identified.

4. Effective Performance Management System (PMS) will also entail the needs and types of training.

These steps will enable you to form a basic training calendar/matrix.

These are some steps, not exhaustive, so keep sharing.

Dear Ms. Priya,

I appreciate your ambition, but it does not speak well of you and your preparedness to be a trainer if you don't have the basic inputs. I would recommend you first be a co-trainer with a well-established organization that trains people, learn your skills, build confidence and reputation, and then proceed with setting up your own organization. Please do not think I am discouraging you. It is better to be corrected now than to be insulted by the group you wish to train.
