Hi Krishna,
There was a discussion already been held on this topic in citehr.
One of our friend Ali had posted this :
Based on the subsequent newspaper articles on fake resumes moving in the market, we will have to discuss and take few measures internally as a pre-offer scan.
Below are the steps which I think we can take to eradicate this epidemic.
1) All candidates to carry the original experience letters / certificates issued by the previous organization for HR interview for scrutiny
2) For current organization, they can get their appointment letter & the last drawn salary slip.
3) All candidates would be given 2 / 3 minutes during HR interview to review their own resumes forwarded by the consultant's / downloaded from net / other channels and authenticate it by signing the resumes.
4) Technical panels will also be advised to not just go by their technical competency 'based on their skills' but to also investigate a little on their past projects executed mentioned in their resumes, to verify the authenticity …
Some more hints :
Here are some signs to look out for:
1)Interviewee is not very comfortable with impromptu answers.
2)Interviewee frequently asks you to repeat questions.
3)Interviewee takes a long time to answer.
4)The person stutters initially and then recites the answer flawlessly.
