Maybe I can find another one that I wrote for a client based on the guidelines set by the Oil & Gas Producers Association (OGPA), which comprises almost all of the Oil & Gas companies in the world.

Dear CITE HR personnel,

I just want to know where I can get complete information about health & safety environment, site issues, and activities because I have noticed that many people related to the HR field. Additionally, I have not seen my posted questions in the alerts, and I am not receiving any answers to my questions. Please let me know the sites that can help me understand the issues, problems, and queries. Which site is very effective in providing complete information?

Thanks and regards,
Javed Khan

Good morning everyone,

I saw the contractor's safety handbook; it's very useful. I am also working on Shell's largest gas-to-liquid project. The handbook is similar to Shell's 12 life-saving rules; it's quite nice and offers valuable learning material.

Thanks to everyone for their efforts.

Best regards.

Dear all,

Here in my company, we were having ESI, but due to the remuneration they are earning, they will not be able to claim ESI. So, we have included mediclaim for them, but death is not covered under this. Can you all find a solution for this? I'm located in Kerala.

Dear all,

We are starting the new EHV project, so we need to create a safety manual. If anyone has guidelines for the same, please reply as soon as possible.

Thank you.

@Gopinathan Pilai,

Thanks for sharing such great documents. It's truly a valuable resource for reference. The SHELL document is particularly good. I believe the six-step contractor safety is from DuPont.

Keep sharing your expertise with us.

@javed 1402,

It's great to know that you are working with SHELL. I am looking forward to receiving more safety documents from SHELL. If your company policy allows sharing, please do so with us.

I am a professional working in an industry. I am a lead auditor in OHSAS 18001. I would like to study the difference between an OHSAS 18001 Lead Auditor & an OHSAS 18001 Internal Auditor. If anyone has the PowerPoint (PPT) slides, course materials/contents, etc., please do send them to me.

Hi Mr. Rahul,

Are you interested in creating a Safety Policy for your organization? There is nothing different about a Contractor safety policy. Please refer to the Hazardous Waste (Management, Handling, and Transboundary Movement) Rules 2008 for hazardous waste management. Everything is clearly outlined in the same. Please let me know if you have any specific questions.

Dear Friends,

Why are we divided on Health & Safety in the following hierarchy: Client > Main Contractor > Sub Contractor > Manpower Supplier/Labor Contractor? Why aren't there rules and regulations for a single point?

Regards,
Bijay

Contractor Evaluation Procedure

The contractor evaluation procedure is a crucial aspect of ensuring the quality and performance of the contractors working on various projects. It involves a systematic assessment of the contractor's work, adherence to timelines, quality of work delivered, and overall professionalism displayed during the project.

The evaluation process typically includes gathering feedback from project managers, team members, and other stakeholders who have interacted with the contractor. This feedback provides valuable insights into the contractor's strengths, areas for improvement, and overall performance.

Based on the evaluation results, decisions can be made regarding the continuation of the contractor's services, opportunities for improvement, or the termination of the contract. Effective contractor evaluation procedures help maintain high standards of work quality, foster accountability, and ensure successful project outcomes.
