ESI Coverage - Esic [Thread 311683]

Dear All,
There is no ESI Dispensary near by our factory (around 55KM distance between our factory and nearest ESI dispensary). Is there any specific rule, amendment, notification etc., about applicability of ESI coverage based on distance...
Please advise.

If your factory/ establishment is located in a notified area then only your establishment will come under ESI coverage. Please visit the website of ESIC or personally meet the nearest Local Office of the ESIC to know whether or not your area is notified area.
