I have 7 months of experience in the IT software industry (previously worked in Retail HR for 6 months). What is the salary level that represents the 'Market Value' for my position? Kindly guide me on the salary level at the earliest.

You have not mentioned your last qualification. If you are a graduate with 6 months of experience in retail, it could be around 10k to 12k, as the retail sector is not a paymaster (unless you are working for big brands). If you have an MBA, you deserve around 15k to 18k.
